I'm not here to fix you. You're not broken.

A lot of people have heard of coaching but don't quite know what umbrella is sits under; is it mentoring? Advice giving? Therapy?

The answer is that it's none of these things; coaches don't fix, they empower you to find your own way through. By working this way, it allows you to utilise these learned skills next time you find yourself in a tough spot.
Coaching comes in many forms, but the one theme that runs throughout is listening. Active listening, to be precise. Coaches aren't thinking about what they can say in response and missing half of what you say, they're not deciding for themselves what issues you should be tackling, they're not digging into the past or using their own life experiences as a point of comparison.
We're here to listen completely and wholly as you explore the challenge you have chosen to bring to us. We ask questions to open up different thought processes, use exercises to shed light in a different way, gently tip and turn and explore situations to get the whole experience through your lens. We ask you what you would like from the session and what timeframe feels manageable and we take your lead. But we don't fix. You do that, and it's the most empowering thing you can do.
